Credit cards have entered our lives in such a manner that it is almost impossible to think that there was ever a life without them. Nowadays, many of the leading credit card providers have introduced different types of cards to cater to specific needs of their customers.
If you are applying for a credit card, you just need to do any of the following things:

Online Credit application : You can also make an online application for a credit card by simply entering your personal and professional information. These websites are reliable and do not use it for any other purpose.
Providing consent to executive :Many credit card providers often make calls through their authorized executives who inform customers about the new schemes related to credit cards. You can make an application by providing your consent to them.
How does the credit card application process work?
As soon as your credit card application is received by the credit card provider or a third-party service provider, authorized by the card provider, a welcome call is made followed by a verification of material facts provided by you at provider's end. The verification includes verification of personal and professional details. The provider also verifies your repayment ability; this is to ensure that you are not a high-risk concern for the card issuer.
A normal online or traditional credit card application form requires an applicant to provide his/her basic details such as name, date of birth, social security number and professional details. The data entered by you is completely safe as all online applications have a minimum of 128 bit cipher strength which confirms the data security.
The application is scanned, screened and validated after entering it in the database (manually or automatically). The same is then checked for any data punching errors followed by a quality check (QC). The application is then viewed to make sure that the application conforms to the predefined standards of the card provider.
Many of the credit card providers nowadays rely on a healthy FICO score. The higher the score, the less will be the interest rate and card approval decline probability and vice-versa.
The online software with the card providers then makes a cross-check of SSN with database for the purpose of validating the same. The address is also verified followed by a soft credit check to ensure a positive credit history of the applicant.
If the documents and material facts that are disclosed by the applicant are found to be accurate, then a welcome call is made to the customer informing him/her of the same. The credit card and related documents and PIN (personal identification number) are then mailed to the customer at his preferred mailing address.
And when you receive the credit card, do not forget to check out your details on it and your credit limit on the accompanying documents and sign on the signature panel on the back side of the credit card.
